Founded in 2004 by Creative Director Emmy Scarterfield, Emmy London has gone from strength to strength and is now an established brand in the luxury bridal and event market with huge support from the Press, along with an ever-growing prestigious client list. From beautiful wedding shoes to chic courts and show-stopping party shoes the brand epitomises feminine, elegant and sublimely comfortable design.
Emmy London’s shoe collections consist of timeless classic inspired lasts, heels and the best Italian suedes and leathers to craft classic, timeless silhouettes to complement looks for every occasion. Leading craftsmen in a dedicated workshop use skills passed down the generations to produce the intricately delicate designs immaculately.
Swarovski crystal, Mother of Pearl shell and cut glass beading are used to create Emmy London's signature embellishments that add a touch of decadent luxury to every collection. After leaving the workshop, our shoes and hair decorations are hand finished in our London studio, where our talented team carefully attach trims and embellishments.
Attention to detail is at the core of the brand identity; each shoe is finished with a Swarovski crystal on the sole. For wedding shoes Brides often choose a blue crystal for their traditional something blue. All our pieces are packaged like gifts with signature ribbon and crystal-embellished boxes to keep your heirlooms looking perfect for years to come.
About The Designer
Emmy grew up in Somerset where she recalls as a child, putting wooden building blocks in to her socks to create instant high heels.
Following her degree at the prestigious Cordwainers College, Emmy worked for five years in Italy for some of top names in accessories including Bottega Veneta and Giorgio Armani. Their craftsmanship and the accuracy of their work has continued to inspire Emmy.
On her return to the UK Emmy set her sights high on creating her own luxury brand. As her friends started getting married, Emmy spotted a gap in the market for stunning, graceful and feminine bridal shoes and brought her unique creative vision to the luxury wedding market.
