Summer Vision

As we try look past the winter rain to the spring and summer we are so excited to see back, it is however a very exciting time for our summer brides. If you haven't chosen and ordered your dress already now is the time to do it in order to fit in all your fittings before your big day.

We have put together a little summer bride guide for you of what dress we'd pick, what bridesmaids dresses compliment it, hair, shoes, underwear and flowers to create a perfect summer wedding vision.

We have chosen the elegant and utterly dreamy gown, Esme from the Summer's Eve Collection by Naomi Neoh. A beautiful gown full of movement and poise, this is also a new colour to Naomi Neoh gowns as it's in Oyster. A pale Oyster gown in chantilly lace with slim plisse silk chiffon skirt and a soft silk chiffon sash in a beautiful pale peach colour. The colours and pale blush/peach colour theme of the dress inspired this to be our theme.

Our beautiful fairytale-like bridesmaids dress is by Maid To Measure and it called Georgina. A stunning one shoulder dress in a pale blush shows off the 2 shoulder wedding dress perfectly and makes the sash of Esme pop.

Our shoes for our summer vision are by Rachel Simpson called Marilyn with a silk bow that falls effortlessly over the shoe. A delicate detail for a delicate dress.

Our chosen underwear is by Shell Belle, a wonderful luxury lingerie brand we stock in store and the briefs are Gatsby in pink in silk satin. With bow details, embroidered front and cute patterned behind these are sweet but also beautiful for the big day.

Our selected hair style from our pinterest board would be an up do with peonies and sage coloured leaves, keeping the coloured watered down and neutral to assure no colour over powers the dress and leaves a floaty romantic atmosphere around the gown. This ties in perfectly to our chosen bouquet of pale pink peonies, little cream roses and babies breath, a wild flower country garden bouquet to compliment Esme in every way.

A Countryside Dream For Hayley & Jonathan

What can we say about this absolutely beautiful bride? We cannot get enough of her wedding photos of her in her Naomi Neoh gown, Lily. A stunning ethereal full length dress with a soft blush lining, full skirt of silk that floats effortlessly in the summer breeze captured perfectly in her photos.

The drop waist shows off her incredible figure and fits her like she was born to wear Lily. The sweetheart neckline of Lily is the perfect romantic shape of Hayley and she chose to wear a lace boat neckline jacket over the top of the dress which makes one dress look like two. Lily is all silk chiffon & french lace with flower detail on the waist to tie in perfectly with her countryside garden venue in Devon and beautiful blossoming bouquet. As you can see by her breath taking photos Lily fitted perfectly into her theme of the romantic rustic Devon countryside wedding.

We loved all her little details she created for her wedding day including her stunning cake made by her super talented mum, these little personal details clearly made her day even more special and close to her heart. Even the groomsmen were dressed to compliment the bride in their navy suits instead of black, making everyone bright, cheerful and full of summer spirit. Her bouquet and flowers were created by Peamore Flora and we are obsessed with how beautiful they are and how well it compliment her dress and her bridesmaids. Even Hayley's hair had little flowers delicately placed around in pale pinks and whites which made her look like a fairytale bride.

Everything entwined effortlessly, creating the perfect country wedding vision. Hayley's day looked truly magical from beginning to end.

Once again we wish Hayley & Jonathan all the happiness in the world and huge congratulations on their fabulous day.

Duke Of Cornwall

Our beautiful LM gown, Sophia, was recently taken on a wonderful shoot to the Duke Of Cornwall Hotel in Plymouth. A beautiful venue that Sophia fitted into perfectly into, complimenting the shape and details of the stunning gown. Romantic wedding day moments captured so realistically by Liberty Pearl Photography.

We picked up on a strong British vibe from this shoot and love the elegance of it, all carefully organised by Jenny Wren, Weddings & Events.

Thankyou to all involved in this shoot for creating a magical atmosphere for our Sophia, LM gown to show off her lace and scattered sparkly details, with a figure hugging shape to show off all the right curves in all the right places.

Autumnal Inspiration

A little bit of inspiration leading you into a beautiful season today. Autumn is the final burst of energy before winter hits, with autumnal colours effortlessly complimenting each other. It's also a wonderful season to be married in, with the perfect reasons to embrace bonfires, snuggle in blankets and have the perfect natural lighting in the evening of your big day.

We created a mini mood board to tingle your autumn taste buds and inspire you, if you haven't set a date yet, or if you are getting married but need little personal touches this autumn. A season we love and want to fully embrace.

Like most people we spend too long on pinterest so we collated our favourite autumnal finds into this post for you to pull ideas from or inspire your own creations.

We love love love the idea of giving a jar or tube of the tastiest hot chocolate mix as favours, why not bring out hot water in the evening so people are use them on the night when you're all outside and the air gets a bit chillier? Or carve into pumpkins, turn the into lanterns to light your aisle or simple to help people find their way in and out the venue? There is always new ideas to be created and every wedding is unique, if you have any lovely ideas you used or will use on your wedding day let us know, we'd love to hear them!
